To quickly get rid of holiday weight gain, just follow these simple fat loss tips.
1) Ingest No liquid calories (with the exception of a post-workout drink).
Get rid of all the fruit juices, the sodas, and the sports drinks. Liquid sugar is the last thing you need when you are trying to lose fat. Drink extra amounts of clean, pure water!
Limit your alcohol intake (and don’t drink mixed drinks, that is a double calorie bomb!).
2) Forget about fast food.
Do not eat at fast food restaurants. Even if you choose what you think is healthy, remember this: Fast food restaurants are all about profit, not health.
The kind of food you’ll find there is fast and cheap because of the poor quality of the food ingredients (especially the protein). Settle for a salad if you end up there, and add protein carefully.
If you want to be sure that the food you are eating is as good as it gets, then think about the option of preparing your own meals. There’s no better way to be sure of what exactly you are eating.
But believe me, it will taste so much better than fast food! Additionally, healthy eating will make you more alert. Eating fast food will make you feel terrible, and will make you want to have an afternoon nap at your desk.
One small improvement to your nutrition everyday for the rest of your life means a lot to your health.
3) Try eating more vegetables, uncooked if possible. Enjoy fruit sparingly, the sugar content can be higher than you think!

The goal is to eat up to 10 servings of vegetables per day. If you are eating 2 servings per day, then go up to 4 servings per day by the end of the week. Then go up to 5 servings per day.
Stick with fiber-rich fruits and vegetables – organic if possible.
Most nuts are roasted in oils (possible source of trans fats), so stick to natural or dry-roasted nuts.
Small amounts of nuts will fill you up and help you lose weight, it will not be enough to make you fat.
5) Be consistent with your workouts.

6) EXTRA TIP: Anytime you eat a big meal, the best thing you can do is to go for a walk; any movement is better than sitting around watching the TV, and it will help you to burn more fat and to control your triglycerides and cholesterol.
