Sounds good,but maybe too good. Would only an idiot buy this product?
Well the premise of this program is pretty simple. It aims to provide your body with different types of calories at different times to confuse your metabolism. This allows for the secretion of more fat burning hormones resulting in fat loss and ultimately weight loss. At heart it is a reduced carb diet that cycles macro-nutrient ratios to try and trick your metabolism into believing there is nothing missing. Otherwise of course your body’s natural defense mechanism kicks in and slows down your metabolism to save you from starvation. (Boy if it could only see what a mistake that is.)
The intention of the Fat Loss for Idiots diet is that you will never be hungry, so you won’t be tempted to quit or cheat and you will lose weight in the healthiest manner possible as you don’t cut out meals in order to lose weight. In fact it gives you meals to eat 4 times a day and in the cycling process the diet is pretty healthy.
Perhaps the best thing about the Fat Loss 4 Idiots program is that it comes with a diet generator or meal plan generator. Using this program you are given custom menu plans for the full 11 days from a predefined list of menu items that include foods you indicated you enjoyed. The menu has enough options for vegetarians and non vegetarians to pick from and once you have your meal plan you are set. The diet got its name “Fat Loss 4 Idiots” because you no longer have to count calories or carbohydrates or anything else. The diet generator tells you what to eat and there are no restrictions on amount other than the obvious, “don’t pig out!”
It is like a vacation from meal planning as all your meals are set. The diet itself can get a bit boring as there is a lot of repetition in the menu plan. The Bad and The Good
Some people have real problems with fat Loss for Idiots, particularly the only “fruit day”. One day of the cycle you eat nothing but fruit and for those who are really protein needy this can be hard as these people end up extremely hungry on “fruit” day.
People who are sort of vegetarian, or want some vegetarian days find that the meal plans are either vegetarian or they are not and there is nothing in between.
Another problem with Fat Loss for Idiots is that you are supposed to eat until satisfied. Don’t stop when you are hungry and do not overeat but eat just until satisfied are the instructions. For many overweight people their hunger regulator is broken and so there is a lot of opportunity to overeat.
On the really good side, the food recommendations are made up of lean proteins, whole fruits and vegetables and the sources of fat come from whole foods (such as meat or eggs). There are limited starchy or simple carbohydrates (such as bread and pasta).
Another big plus is that almost no one is really hungry while on this “diet”. The food for each day is divided into 4 meals that should be eaten at a maximum of 2 1/2 hours apart. There is no calorie or carb counting and no limit on portion size – Fat Loss 4 Idiots says you “just eat short of being full”. (see above as this can be a plus and a minus)
After the 11 day meal plan there is a 3 day “cheat” – where you get to eat whatever you want. Then you are back onto the 11 day pre-set meal plan program again.

The real difference between the Fat Loss for Idiots plan and other plans is that the diet is purposely confusing your body so it never thinks it is starving. The meal plan is created by selecting from a list of your own preferred foods. These are then used to generate your meal plan.
There is no magic behind this program but it is a good focused meal plan with sensible exercise recommendations for the previously sedentary.
